Transcript Ordering Instructions

UTSA now uses Parchment for transcript requests which offer services such as 24/7 secure access compatible with all mobile and tablet devices, 24/7 online order status and tracking, and automated electronic delivery acknowledgment. Transcripts are no longer printed on campus and originate from an off-site location after a request is made. It is no longer possible to pick up a transcript in person on the same day of your request.

Southwest School of Art Students: If you wish to order an official Southwest School of Arts transcript please email registrar.internal@utsa.edu to request your transcripts. We will work with you directly to provide you with your official SSA transcript.

Online Ordering Services

Printed hard copy transcripts, electronic transcripts, and Fed Ex delivery service are all available online through Parchment.

If you can CAS authenticate you can avoid completing the Signature Authorization form:

  1. Log into myUTSA Account
  2. Select the Student Services tab
  3. Select the Student Records link
  4. Select Request Official Transcript link – this redirects you to Parchment
  5. Follow the provided instructions to complete your order

If you are not able to CAS authenticate (Alumni):

  1. Use Parchment to place your order.
  2. Follow the provided instructions to complete your order.
  3. Use a mouse or touch screen to complete the authorization process.

When placing an order online, we recommend using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari web browsers.

Federal Express delivery is only available when placing an online order. E-Transcript and First Class mail delivery is also available. FedEx orders will only be processed once a week. For immediate delivery, official electronic transcripts are sent out the same day. Credit or debit cards are accepted for payment.

Note: Requests from students with no holds and/or issues within their request, will be sent within the hour of the order being processed. Students with a ‘transcript-hold’ will be able to request a transcript online, but the transcript request will not be completed until the hold is resolved.

Attachments

Documents are sometimes required by other institutions (e.g., AMCAS, PharmCAS, NursingCAS, etc.) to be sent as an attachment with your official transcript. Please indicate if you need an attachment included with your official transcript. Attachments must be submitted at the time of the request.

 

Processing Charges

Payment information is taken when ordering the transcript but your credit card will not be charged until the transcript has been delivered.
