No one likes talking about bills, but figuring out how to pay for college is important.
One of the best ways to cover tuition costs is to apply for scholarships—they provide financial aid funds that you don’t have to pay back! Although some scholarships are awarded automatically, most require an application separate from completing your FAFSA. One Stop can help you learn about the different types of scholarships available and how you can be awarded them.
If You’re Applying to UTSA
First-time freshman and transfer students can access the General Scholarship Application when they apply for UTSA on ApplyTexas. New Roadrunners are also encouraged to apply for other UTSA scholarships offered to specific colleges and departments and even scholarships outside of UTSA.
If You’re a Continuing Student
Returning students can access the General Scholarship Application on the Scholarship Hub. Current Roadrunners are also encouraged to apply for distinguished merit-based scholarships, other UTSA scholarships offered to specific colleges and departments and even scholarships outside of UTSA.
If you have general scholarship questions, contact One Stop at 210-458-8000 or firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a question in regards to a departmental or college scholarship, then you’ll want to contact the office that is offering the scholarship.
