During the first few weeks of the spring term, One Stop will not have appointments available. This is due to the heavier traffic associated with the start of term. If you need to see a counselor in person, you can see a walk in counselor at the Main Campus.
Do you have a more complex issue that One Stop can help with? If so, make an appointment with a counselor. You’ll meet in a more private setting for 20 minutes when you create an appointment.
UTSA Terms and Conditions for usage of One Stop’s Online Appointment Scheduler
Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”), a student at an institution of higher education may control outside access to their education records. However, FERPA does allow The University of Texas at San Antonio (“UTSA”) to disclose appropriately designated “directory information” to third parties outside of UTSA unless the student has requested otherwise. If I choose to use the online scheduling tool, I understand that some of this directory information as well as any other information I provide while scheduling is required to be shared with third party service providers. Further I fully understand the rights to withhold my education records afforded to me under FERPA. By my acknowledgment and use of the online scheduling tool, I authorize and acknowledge that UTSA may disclose my directory information as well as any other information provided during scheduling to the third party service providers for the purpose of scheduling. I hereby release UTSA, its governing board (The University of Texas System Board of Regents), officers, employees and representatives, in their individual and official capacities, from any and all liability arising out of or related to the online scheduling tool and disclosure of my information to the third party service providers.
