Updated as of August 21 at 10:00am CT: Related to recent news, here are the latest updates for students:

Student Passphrase Reset:

  • Students passphrase reset instructions are now available.
  • Please reset your passphrase during your designated time window.
  • Once your assigned window begins, you may reset your passphrase at any time after that.
  • If your reset code does not arrive after 30 minutes, visit in-person below or call Tech Café at 210-458-5555 for help.
  • Get help in-person from Friday (Aug 21) – Sunday (Aug 23) at the following locations:
    • Student Union – 2nd Floor (above foodcourt) – Denman Ballroom (SU 2.01.28):
      • 7am – 7pm (Friday – Sunday)
    • JPL  – 2nd Floor (above foodcourt) – Silent Computing Lab (JPL 2.01.30):
      • 7am – 7pm (Friday)
      • 9am – 7pm (Saturday)
      • 10am – 7pm (Sunday)

Other Updates:

  • One Stop phone lines are now available.
  • The first day of class is delayed to Monday, August 24.
  • The original August 19 payment deadline has been extended to Monday, August 24 at 5pm CT, for both 16-week and first 8-week terms.
  • The first 8-week term last day to add a class deadline has been extended from Thursday, August 20 to Friday, August 21.
  • Financial aid refunds will resume as the necessary technology systems come back online.

Registration & Records

Online Degrees

Students enrolled in fully online degree programs will register for coursework specifically designated for them. Learn how to navigate the class schedule to identify which courses are for online-only programs.

How to Search for Classes

First, you will go to the Schedule of Classes and select the applicable term. Once you are on the “Browse Classes” page,  navigate to “Campus” and select “Online Programs” from the drop-down menu (do not select Internet). If you wish to filter further, you use any of the following options:

  • Subject (Ex: English, Geology)
  • Course Number (Ex: 1073)
  • Part Of Term (Ex: Fall/Spring Full Term)

 

After you have added filters, select “Search” to view the list of courses available for the term. You will notice the campus will indicate “Online Programs” under the Campus column. Once you’re ready to register, view our step-by-step instructions or watch our tutorial.
