myUTSA ID
Your myUTSA ID (abc123) is your primary student ID at UT San Antonio. You’ll need it to log in to almost everything, including your myUTSA Admissions portal, myUTSA Account, the Air Rowdy wireless network, on-campus computers, Canvas and more.
Activating your myUTSA Account
After applying to UT San Antonio, you will receive an email from [email protected] with a link to activate your myUTSA account, get your myUTSA ID and set up your passphrase. Once activated, you will use your myUTSA ID to log in to almost everything here, including your student portal called myUTSA Account.
I didn’t get an activation email
If you didn’t receive your activation email or need help, contact Tech Cafe at 210-458-5555. They will be able to resend your activation email after confirming your identity.
I forgot my password
If you need to reset your password/passphrase, visit the UT San Antonio Passphrase Portal.
I activated myUTSA ID, but I can’t access myUTSA Account
If you’re unable to access myUTSA Account, click the Forgot/Reset Passphrase link on the myUTSA Account page to reset your login information. If you can’t reset the passphrase (because you didn’t set up contact/reset information), contact Tech Cafe at 210-458-5555 for the link to be re-sent.
UT San Antonio Email Address
Once you’ve activated your myUTSA ID, you will also be issued a UT San Antonio email address ending in @my.utsa.edu, powered by Microsoft Office 365.
UT San Antonio uses this email to communicate with all students. For new students, this can start as early as once you sign up for Orientation or register for classes at UT San Antonio.
