Financial Aid & Your Bill
Navigating your financial aid on your bill can be a challenge. Until your aid has been disbursed (or paid out), you will not see your financial aid on your account activity on RowdyPay.
There are a few ways you can view your bill on Rowdy Pay:
Account Activity: shows the actual history of your transactions; no anticipated credits will display on your activity.
Real-Time Statement: To see your account activity in a PDF format, you can view a “Real-Time Statement;” no anticipated credits will display on your activity.
View Statements: Monthly PDF snapshot of your accounts at a specific moment in time. Potential financial aid could be shown here as an “anticipated credit.”
What is an anticipated credit? On your monthly PDF statements, you might see certain Financial Aid funds listed. This means that you have completed any outstanding requirements relevant to that specific fund and that fund is now “authorized” or ready to be paid out when Financial Aid is disbursed. If you are anticipating other financial aid that is not shown, it could mean you still have outstanding requirements or holds related to that fund that needs to be completed – check your account!
Payment Reminder Emails: UTSA Fiscal Services will start sending payment reminder emails a month prior to a payment deadline. If you receive those emails, you are considered unpaid for the term and will want to make sure payment arrangements are made. Be sure to check your UTSA email address!
Remember, you must accept your financial aid offer, take care of any financial aid holds or outstanding requirements, and meet enrollment requirements before funds will be disbursed. You can always reference this PDF guide on how to navigate financial aid on your myUTSA Account.
