Accepting Your Aid
Once you have been offered financial aid or scholarships, you may go and review your aid on your myUTSA Account.
It is important to understand what types of financial aid you have been offered to make an informed decision before you accept your financial aid. View our Financial Aid & Scholarships Guide for more instructions on how to view and accept your financial aid offer on your myUTSA Account.
Some financial aid will require additional steps after you accept them. These requirements and further instructions will be posted on your myUTSA Account and must be completed before your aid can be disbursed to your bill.
Check Outstanding Financial Aid Requirements & Holds
Review your myUTSA Account for unsatisfied requirements, and/or holds that will prevent the disbursement of aid.
How to Check Your Outstanding Requirements & Holds
- Log onto your myUTSA Account
- Under the Quick Launch card, select “App Financial Aid” button from the list
- Select the applicable Aid Year at the top right corner
- On the “Home” tab under the “Student Requirements” section, you will see any outstanding requirements listed under “Unsatisfied Requirements”
Accept/Decline Your Aid
Accept or decline your financial aid and scholarships. You may choose to leave offers as “undecided” or accept a partial amount. You are accepting for both the fall and spring semesters. Financial aid offers can contain a combination of grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study eligibility. Please note that some aid may have state “eligibility” requirements and will not disburse until you have completed the requirements to receive this fund. Additional information and requirements for specific financial aid offers can be found under the Understanding Aid section on the website.

Need any forms?
If a form is required, download it from the Financial Aid Forms website. Most of our forms can be completed and submitted online through the Document Uploader.
Submitting Documents & Paperwork Priority Deadlines
Outstanding documents must be processed by our office in order for aid to disburse. We encourage you to submit your financial aid paperwork by priority deadlines to ensure your aid pays before the term’s payment deadline. Documents submitted after the deadline will still be processed, but students should make other payment arrangements to avoid a late payment fee or being dropped for non-payment after census.
