Finish@UT is the centralized support center for online education throughout The University of Texas System.
Finish@UT contains online classrooms, a digital library, free online tutorial services, links to various admissions and registrar offices throughout the UT System and full program descriptions for the online courses and degrees at the Finish@UT facilitates. Designated contacts at each campus (UT San Antonio academic advisors) and student services support staff of the Finish@UT are available to assist students. Can I receive Financial Aid at UT San Antonio if enrolled in courses through the Finish@UT?
Yes, students enrolled in courses through Finish@UT may receive financial aid at UT San Antonio as long as UT San Antonio is their home school.
Note: Students can only receive financial aid at one school per term.
How can I receive Financial Aid when enrolled in Finish@UT?
Submit your FAFSA and have it sent to UT San Antonio (School code: 010115). Typically, Finish@UT will notify us of hours taken at other schools. The financial aid process for Finish@UT students does not differ from students enrolled on campus at UT San Antonio.
Will UT San Antonio use my financial aid to pay for my Finish@UT courses at the other institutions?
No, students are responsible for either making payment arrangements or paying the tuition and fees at the other institutions. Each campus on the UT System will directly bill the students for the courses in which they are enrolled.
After the Financial Aid pays the tuition and fees for the on-campus courses, UT San Antonio will disburse the remaining Financial Aid directly to the student. Students should use their refunds to pay for their Finish@UT courses. Specific information about costs for academic courses can be found on the campus’s website.
Note: UT San Antonio DOES NOT pay the other schools for the students.
