Parent Amended Tax Return – 1040X

You were selected to undergo a process called verification by the Department of Education. The government selects students for verification to ensure that the figures used to fill out the FAFSA match with income information submitted to the IRS. We show that your parents tax return was amended. As such, we need a signed copy of your parents’ 1040X tax return.
 

• For the 2023-2024 financial aid year, submit a copy of the 1040X tax return for 2021
• For the 2024-2025 financial aid year, submit a copy of the 1040X tax return for 2022

You can submit copies of your parents’ signed 1040X one of the following ways:

• Financial Aid Document Uploader
• U.S. mail to the following mailing address:University of Texas at San Antonio
  Financial Aid and Scholarship Office
  One UTSA Circle
  San Antonio, TX 78249
• In person at the One Stop Enrollment Center (Main or Downtown Campus).

For data security purposes, documents submitted by email or fax cannot be accepted.
