Rejected FAFSA Application

You recently submitted a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which was processed and your application was sent to the school. Your FAFSA was sent to us in a rejected status, which means there are discrepancies that need to be corrected to continue the financial aid process. We are unable to process a financial aid award package until your FAFSA is out of this rejected status.

To resolve this issue for 2024-2025, you will need to wait until mid-April per the Department of Education to fix their rejected status. Once corrections can be made, please review the comments section of your Student Aid Report (SAR), this will be referred to as the FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) starting with the 2024-2025 school year, for all reject status information. Contact the U.S. Department of Education at (800) 433-3243 or visit studentaid.gov for further information and instructions on how to resolve any outstanding issues with your FAFSA. You may need to apply for a Tuition and Fee loan to ensure your classes are not dropped.
