Student Verification of Non-filing Letter from IRS
Our records indicate that you indicated that you did not file taxes. As such, you and/or your spouse must provide a copy of a Verification of Non-filing Letter from the IRS to have your Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) application processed.
You and/or your spouse can access a Verification of Non-filing Letter online at https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript. Click on “Get Transcript Online” and select a Verification of Non-filing Letter.
How to submit the form: You can submit a copy of your Verification of Non-filing Letter through the Document Uploader.
For data security purposes, documents submitted by email or fax cannot be accepted.
