What happens on the Census Date?

Last day to drop or withdraw without a grade. Last day to drop an individual course and receive a 100% refund. If you are enrolled in only one class, this action is NOT considered a drop. Instead, this is a withdrawal and you will be refunded according to the prorated withdrawal refund percentages. After this date, refunds are not given for dropping an individual course. Last day to pay your Tuition and Fees bill before being charged a $100 non-refundable late payment fee. If you’re receiving financial aid, your hours become “locked” on this date. Adding another class after Census won’t count towards your enrollment for financial aid. For instance, if you were part-time after census and added more hours to try to be full-time, then you would still be considered part-time on your financial aid. Be sure to take care of any of your items that have a census date deadline before 5 p.m.
